The Spa and Wellness industry has seen extraordinary growth in the last twelve months, primarily due to the residential market reaction to ‘stay at home’ measures, which has created a dramatic surge in demand for spa and wellness equipment. Every aspect of the global supply chain continues to be stretched beyond normal limits. Our industry alone expects the ongoing increased demand to last well into 2021. Along with unprecedented shortages and abnormally long lead times, there are inevitable increases in the costs of freight, raw materials, and just about all operational expenses. We have now begun receiving notifications from many of our manufacturing partners advising us of new price increases that will start going into effect from this year. Therefore, after thoughtful deliberations, We are proposing an average fee increase of 5%-7% for the 2021/2022 for all line of our products and service effecting from now on.

You can be assured that at KS Aqua, we're doing everything we can to ensure your needs are met as quickly as possible, here are some TIPS that may be helpful to you to make the decision for finding the trusty partner in spa & wellness contractor for your project under your budget:

  • It will likely take time for the current conditions to ease, so for now, it’s prudent and necessary to plan ahead as much as possible.

  • Don’t assume that “everyone knows” about the issues impacting your business. Proactively let your customer database know what’s going on.

  • Expect and communicate longer lead times on just about everything, to avoid over-promising and under-delivering.

  • Consider substitute or alternative items that are available. Keep an open mind about different technologies, products, and methods.

  • Re-evaluate all of your actual costs of doing business because they may have increased more than you anticipated.

  • Raise your prices accordingly where you need to – and don’t hesitate to explain why.

  • Freight costs, including all forms of transportation regarding the export., continue to rise. Ensure you factor those increased costs into your pricing.

  • When bidding or quoting, clearly define and limit the extent of your commitment to pricing and/or delivery and completion deadlines.

  • Carefully review contracts before signing them to prevent inadvertently taking on responsibility for factors that are out of your control.
